I am very pleased to say that I have signed a licensing and administration deal with 411 Music in Los Angeles for my 2014 Album ‘Well Tread Roads”.
411 Music specialize in exploitation of rights for synchronization in Film and TV.
This is great news and I am really looking forward to working with them.
Very happy to see that my song Dust has been used again by the Russian TV sitcom ‘Kitchen” series 5, being used on the closing credits of episodes 10 and 11!
This is great news and wonderful to be able to spread the word of the music to Russia and the Ukraine!
I recently caught up with Canadian Blog and music website Fresh Independence about Glastonbury, my new album and all the things I’m currently working on..
You can read the article here:
I am currently working on two EMI production music commissions – Summery Americana and Indie/Country/ Folk.
For both these albums I am working with a range of male and female vocalists. I am working with the hugely talented singer Ayelle and the trusty talented bass player Dave Wademan and Dom Clare on Drums.
Both these albums are due for release in September 2015.
There are two wonderful milestones for the song Dust:
1. PRS have confirmed that the song has received in excess of 1 million plays on you tube by users across the world.
2. Dust was placed in a recent episode of the US TV Show “Secret Wedding” and was the song for the first dance, introduced by the wonderful Cat Deely.
Very happy to read that I was nominated for category of “best Bloke with Guitar” in the Consequence of Sound Worthy Awards for Glastonbury 2015.
You can read the article here – nominees – ben howard, Hozier, James bay, George Ezra:
I had the pleasure of meeting to and chatting with the wonderful Billy Bragg and Larry Love from Alabama 3 at Glastonbury this year – We played on the same stage (At different times) and I was luck enough to introduced them to the biggest crowds that Toad Hall has ever seen!
Just a quick note to say I am very happy that I was featured in Best New bands “10 new bands we loved at Glastonbury” . Click below for the link…it was very good to be in the esteemed company as Ben Howard!
